Trying some experimenting with my photography and some Cinema 4d. Thanks to Ratha @ stablabs for the idea..
FYI – I have become so inept at Photoshop that I had to bring the pictures and effects into After Effects CS5 in order to get comfortable with them. Again. Here’s another one with the same idea.
One more for tonight…and I thing I like this one the most. Just a good look to it..

Ok…..another addendum, I have to figure how to legitimately add to a post with time code, etc…….One more quick one for the road….

I lied…..this is too fun…..here’s another.

Thanks for the idea Ratha.
…as in…”in the fog” Was able to, somehow, make it in to the office through the mayhem and get this time lapse. First ones you see are Sausalito in the distance, then….since I was unaware of the correct location….The SF fireworks started just off to the right of Alcatraz. I kinda like the turn when I moved the camera. Had to use grain removal to kill the noise from the high ISO, guess I should have researched night photography a bit more, eh?
I had an exciting Memorial Day….no BBQ’s for me, nope. I got me a Zipcar, my camera and gear and rolled out to the historic Sutro Baths here in San Francisco. Amazingly foggy day, but there was still a lot of good photos to snap. I did finally come to the conclusion that I cannot take handheld video with my camera without some sort of aid to steady my hands….I swear to god, you’d think I was a cartoon character who used a jackhammer all day….not too steady. Oh, well…guess I’ll need to get that steady cam-type thing..haha Gadget Powers ACTIVATE!!!
Hey…guess what?!?! Yep…another time lapse…….this time a little pan on the Golden Gate, from distance….
Got time to kill? Try time lapse…..I did and I feel great! By great, I mean tired…..
Took about 17 or so shots with the T2i and used some pretty kickass software called AutopanoGiga to automatically stitch them together for this kickass shot. Same software used for 26 Gigapixel Paris and 45 Gigapixel Dubai
My final was pretty big….
I am trying to figure out how to make a Flash Virtual Tour thing…we’ll see.
Phew….so I finally was able to finish a little city trip I have been working on for a bit. Made my way from the humble abode in SOMA to Vista Point on the northern side of Golden Gate Bridge. A pretty serious 14 miles with some hillage and wind along the way. Was able to stop and take a bunch of pics and video along the way.
All and all, it was a pretty nice ride…oh, and the Golden Gate Bridge is really friggin’ high. Seriously…if you are thinking about jumping….that’s the place to go….crazy tall.
