Golden Gate..

Hey…guess what?!?! Yep…another time lapse…….this time a little pan on the Golden Gate, from distance….

Killing Time @ the Office….

Got time to kill?  Try time lapse…..I did and I feel great!  By great, I mean tired…..

RainSong

Another rainy Sunday……so why not try to throw something together? It makes no sense, and is just some random shots around my apartment, but it does have a couple of really nice shots.  Mostly the ones where the camera was locked down.  That really makes a big difference, I am noticing.

Gonna spend a little more time learning some Final Cut and Color.  Used them to make this, but my workflow is pretty slow.  Definitely have to make a proper edit too, these shots aren’t really flowing together, but I wanted to get something done, so there it is….ha  Really did like my old Final Cut class at AOA, might as well try to use it a bit, eh?

Canon T2i Test Footage.

New camera came in…and it’s very cool……

XSI Time Lapse

Just testing out the old Push the trigger and fire away method. Mounted my cam on a Gorillapod (which had the intesting side effect of panning during the shot) and just held down the button and took a bunch of pics, as fast as my cam could go.

Brought into After Effects, and bam. Lots of potential, if I planned ahead.might need to try this again on the bay.

Nuit Blanche

I swear…pretty much every day I come across or am shown some amazing short film or demo reel.  It is positively mindblowing how much incredible stuff there is to see and how many talented people that are out doing it.

…followed by the equally impressive ‘Making of”…

Skywalker Ranch with the Canon 5D and 7D

I need a new camera…..and a GlideTrak…..and to work at Skywalker Ranch……must be tought to work there….

WOW

Massive Attack video.

I watched this video full screen on Vimeo and it is pretty damn trippy.  I was getting vertigo during some of the shots….pretty crazy camera.  Smooth and dynamic.

Vancouver Timelapse…

This is some pretty killer timelapse photography of Vancouver……Really well done. The cloud movements are almost like watching waves on the ocean.  Which, I suppose, is not to far off.

Apoptosis

Another find on Vimeo, that just goes to show that a relatively simple idea …can look pretty cool, if executed well…nice
