Skywalker Ranch with the Canon 5D and 7D

I need a new camera…..and a GlideTrak…..and to work at Skywalker Ranch……must be tought to work there….

WOW

Massive Attack video.

I watched this video full screen on Vimeo and it is pretty damn trippy.  I was getting vertigo during some of the shots….pretty crazy camera.  Smooth and dynamic.

Oh…and another interesting thing happened….

On a little project recently, I realized that I was no longer as comfortable in Photoshop as I am in After Effects. This is a good thing, considering what I do. I ended up having to do the basic matte work and the like in PS then I imported that psd into AE where I felt much better about making the changes….weird, eh?

WIP – Left 4 Dead 2 Custom Load Screen

Working on an open screen for my brother.  Big Left 4 Dead fan, so he and his buddy are making a level or 2….

Right off the bat….that’s NOT my BG burning city. It’s from some Wolverine Comic or Concept art.  The rest is mine….and got some more to do!!

Updated:

Here is the new look…formatted correctly…not done yet.

Video Copilot Optical Flares review.

Aetuts.com has a new review of Optical Flares from Video Copilot up.  And, shockingly, it’s an overwhelmingly positive review… Good stuff.  We are getiing it for all the computers here at the office and for our renderfarm….Can’t wait to really figure out cool ways to use it.

Royale Show Reel

I n continuing my effort to post more often, here is another Reel for Royale.  Pretty nice motion graphics stuff.  Looks like a lot of Cinema4d….looks good to me.

Barclay Roller Coaster

This is pretty cool..Rollercoaster ride through NYC. The irony of using a Boston song for the soundtrack to a trip through NY is not lost on me…ha

From Motionographer.com, which always has great stuff.

and a making of movie to boot!

Making of Rollercoaster by The Mill.

Cheers!

Vancouver Timelapse…

This is some pretty killer timelapse photography of Vancouver……Really well done. The cloud movements are almost like watching waves on the ocean.  Which, I suppose, is not to far off.

HBO intro..

I never had HBO as a kid, but my friends usually did…well, at least some.  Regardless, this is look at the old intro….damn time flies….

Classic….

Flickr Plugin….just trying to link my account to my blog…
