Plastic Bullet Shots

For those without anaglyph glasses……we salute you…..

I have anaglyph stereo glasses…cool plastic ones that look like Ray Bans™, but many do not.  For you guys I give you this “Wiggle-Stereoscopic” image :)

ps -click on it and give it a second..it’s a little large

Fireworks….San Francisco style

…as in…”in the fog” Was able to, somehow, make it in to the office through the mayhem and get this time lapse. First ones you see are Sausalito in the distance, then….since I was unaware of the correct location….The SF fireworks started just off to the right of Alcatraz. I kinda like the turn when I moved the camera. Had to use grain removal to kill the noise from the high ISO, guess I should have researched night photography a bit more, eh?

Sutro Baths Memorial Day 2010

I had an exciting Memorial Day….no BBQ’s for me, nope. I got me a Zipcar, my camera and gear and rolled out to the historic Sutro Baths here in San Francisco. Amazingly foggy day, but there was still a lot of good photos to snap. I did finally come to the conclusion that I cannot take handheld video with my camera without some sort of aid to steady my hands….I swear to god, you’d think I was a cartoon character who used a jackhammer all day….not too steady. Oh, well…guess I’ll need to get that steady cam-type thing..haha Gadget Powers ACTIVATE!!!

Killing Time @ the Office….

Got time to kill?  Try time lapse…..I did and I feel great!  By great, I mean tired…..

Golden Gate Gallop…..completed!

Phew….so I finally was able to finish a little city trip I have been working on for a bit.  Made my way from the humble abode in SOMA to Vista Point on the northern side of Golden Gate Bridge.  A pretty serious 14 miles with some hillage and wind along the way.  Was able to stop and take a bunch of pics and video along the way.

All and all, it was a pretty nice ride…oh, and the Golden Gate Bridge is really friggin’ high.  Seriously…if you are thinking about jumping….that’s the place to go….crazy tall.

XSI Time Lapse

Just testing out the old Push the trigger and fire away method. Mounted my cam on a Gorillapod (which had the intesting side effect of panning during the shot) and just held down the button and took a bunch of pics, as fast as my cam could go.

Brought into After Effects, and bam. Lots of potential, if I planned ahead.might need to try this again on the bay.

Damn iPhone Apps

Really need to come up with an iPhone app. For real. I, like so many others, are hooked on them. But they are so good….if you choose wisely. “Now this is the cup of a carpenter.”. Indy.

Now I can do tilt shift stuff from my phone, sorta.

That and I posted this from my iPhone…damn this is cool.
