Filmed some stuff today, and tried to integrate the particles. Just starting out gotta add some more particles and some Cinema 4d…..
That and I am figuring out this WordPress thing a little more..

XSI Time Lapse
Just testing out the old Push the trigger and fire away method. Mounted my cam on a Gorillapod (which had the intesting side effect of panning during the shot) and just held down the button and took a bunch of pics, as fast as my cam could go.
Brought into After Effects, and bam. Lots of potential, if I planned ahead.might need to try this again on the bay.
Nuit Blanche
I swear…pretty much every day I come across or am shown some amazing short film or demo reel. It is positively mindblowing how much incredible stuff there is to see and how many talented people that are out doing it.

Massive Attack video.
I watched this video full screen on Vimeo and it is pretty damn trippy. I was getting vertigo during some of the shots….pretty crazy camera. Smooth and dynamic.
Video Copilot Optical Flares review.
Aetuts.com has a new review of Optical Flares from Video Copilot up. And, shockingly, it’s an overwhelmingly positive review… Good stuff. We are getiing it for all the computers here at the office and for our renderfarm….Can’t wait to really figure out cool ways to use it.

Slightly older particle test video.
Mostly I am just testing out the WordPress capabilities and finding my way around…May have to up the site to my main addy. This seems like a pretty kick ass way to keep people up to date and keep your info current. Once they realize that you actually HAVE a blog to visit……
Oh, and this little test was based on a video called “Meridian”, which had awesome particle work and a sweet tune(played partially here) by Tycho, a local SF artist.
Keyframer’s Union: Take II
Last night we had the second connection of the Keyframer’s Union. It was a little late, but pretty good none the less once we got rolling. Lots of potential here if we concentrate.
